A tessellation is a pattern in which individual shapes fit together perfectly, without any gaps or overlaps. The constitutive shapes may present individuality; each with their own unique appeal. Nevertheless, they culminate to form a cohesive and seamless image: a mosaic.
Mosaica Dance Company parallels this geometric phenomenon, with each dancer contributing their distinct style and vision to bring an integrated display of movement to the stage in their final showcase of 2017, Tessellations, which took place on March 31 – April 1 at the D.B. Clarke Theatre.
